Sr. Windows/Network Engineer position

Job Description:
The Senior Engineer’s primary role is to ensure the highest level of availability of mission critical systems. Secondary roles are to provide overall support for the infrastructure and users as necessary to keep these systems available and efficient to enable users to perform their job duties.

The role involves planning of system changes, implementing and documenting the processes and procedures necessary to become a repeatable task and build supporting documents. The role will have a broad scope of equipment to support including but not limited to: Servers, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, WAN circuits, Network Switches, PBX System and End User Desktop PC’s.

The role works closely with other IT staff members and IT Management to provide efficient and effective systems and processes amongst team members and other departments. This role will also help define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices following ITIL guidelines.

The Senior Network/Systems Engineer must have a minimum of 5 years experience with Windows Network administration, support, troubleshooting, and design. Tasks include hardware/software installation, performing backups, system configuration, and network administration. Plan for and maintain networks, storage, upgrades, and virus definitions; create and maintain user accounts. Be responsible for network security, system recovery and system troubleshooting. Must be able to work in a team environment with engineering and other system administrators. Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, Symantec Backup Exec are desired. Understand and upkeep of Cisco Network Switches and Routers, Network servers and operations, hardware/software maintenance.

VB.NET/C#.NET Developer

Job Description:
QQ Solutions has an immediate opening for a VB.NET/C#.NET Developer with extensive experience in building Windows and Web-based applications utilizing VB, VB.NET and C#.NET. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of VB.NET, C#.NET, experience in ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

With a minimum of 2 years experience with Windows and Web development, the candidate should be able to participate in all phases of the development life cycle, design and document new development, as well as enhancements to existing software that we sell to the insurance industry.

Product Support Specialist

The successful candidate will be a part of a highly skilled team responsible for both technical support and customer satisfaction in a fast paced Call Center Support environment. You will join a team of proactive, passionate Technical Support oriented individuals. Candidates should be eager to take on the challenges of working in a constantly changing environment.

Under direct supervision of the Product Support Manager, the Product Support Representative shall serve as the primary point of contact for our customers within the Product Support Team.

Provides end user support for all products. Interacts with customers directly to resolve customer service inquiries over the phone, Live Chat or through email.

The successful candidate shall have previous knowledge of Technical Support Best Practices along with a blended balance of Customer Service Skills and Incident tracking systems.
